enabling effective response

coffee&climate

The initiative for coffee&climate (c&c) was founded by ICP and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in 2010. The idea was to develop a sector-wide answer to the challenges, climate change is posing to smallholder coffee farming families.

Since then, c&c is supporting smallholder coffee farming families and their communities to effectively respond to climate change, to increase their resilience, and improve their livelihoods. More than 133,000 coffee farming households have already been trained on c&c’s climate-smart techniques.

With c&c, ICP has established a network of partners that drive the needed change together. And more members are welcome to join the work.

Like all ICP projects, the work of c&c is coordinated and implemented by Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung (HRNS).
